In most cases, that personal information includes your name, address, email address, phone number and other data only necessary for us to deliver the service you requested. In all cases it is non-proprietary information. In the event you purchase a product directly from our site and make use of a web based payment mechanism, we will not be the collector of the payment information. The integrity and security of the databases wherein your information is stored is the responsibility of your credit card provider, your bank and the nationally recognized merchant services provider presented to you at the time of the transaction. The Information We Disclose
Other than the payment information and demographic data required by your credit or banking institution and payment processor, it is our policy to NOT DISCLOSE any information about you. If at any time in the future we develop a business practice that may find it beneficial to disclose any information about you that was provided to us by you in accordance with this policy, we represent and warrant that we will seek your permission to disclose it after fully disclosing to you the purpose of our request. If you do not grant permission we will not disclose any information. In no case will we disclose information for children under 18 years of age without express written permission from their parent or guardian.
However, we may be required by law or court order to disclose your information for the purpose of investigating or preventing fraud or other cyber crime, and will only disclose information to a court of competent jurisdiction or government agency after we have been served valid and legally binding requests, subpoenas or other such documentation.
The Public Information You Disclose
Notwithstanding our privacy policy regarding non-public information as described more fully above, you may elect from time to time to disclose personal information, in form and detail of your choosing, through our forums or other electronic public communication platforms. We make no assurances that any and all information you upload onto one of the public communications areas of our sites will remain private. As it is the nature of public discussion tools such as forums to be exactly that, public, you should be aware that anything you upload, including words, images, photographs, personal data, self-identifying information will be viewed by the public in an open and unrestricted manner.
