Wow, SO much to catch up on!!!

As many may know, I have been pretty busy finishing my book, baking away at the bakery and a BUNCH of other adventures that I cannot wait to share with you. All of which will benefit this wonderful community; a community that I dedicated my upcoming book to.

It was this celiac community that extended a hand to grab when I was sinking deep into depression, worry, fear and loneliness. The burden from this disease was overwhelming to begin with but the fact the doctors, family and friends didn’t have the answers for me was deeply frightening. It was the first Google search that led me to a celiac chat room where I started to feel that I wasn’t dropped off somewhere in outer space.

They listened, they understood and they shared their stories with me and gave me advice. It is the single reason for this blog, this journey and why I am passionately on a mission to make people understand this disease and respect it. Not to mention to bring us the SAFEST and most nutritious food I can create.

I’m truly so blessed to have met so many fellow celiacs and others who deal with autoimmune diseases and be able to share a healthy treat or just our stories.

One in particular I’m grateful for meeting is Gluten Dude. So many thanks for all you do and for you and Mrs. Dude’s support and friendship.

Also grateful to Gluten Dude because he helped me get this blog UN-hacked, rebuilt and ready for action again!!

Exciting info to come as well as many more yummy recipes.

As always, be well.

~ Jennifer

I’m so excited for you. Welcome back. I missed you. Thanks for all your important blog info on our foods we purchase to try and stay safe, My mother is fighting Renal Cell Carcinoma and I put her on my Gluten Free foods now when i saw her abdomen blowing up like a balloon . Being her caretaker has been damaging to my auto-immune system on a daily basis.

Looking forward to my book to arrive soon,

    Thanks, Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer,

I was dx with celiac disease in April 2013 and I have been trying to find the right vitamins for me. I read on your blog post about the vitamin protocol your doctor put you on through Longevity Nutritionals so I ordered it and what I received was not what is on their website. I am curious if anyone else has had problems getting the correct items from them. Its very frustrating enough trying to hunt down something that works and even more frustrating when you order items and they aren’t’ the right ones. I’m literally feeling drained and although it is just vitamins I know my body needs them and my doctor is NO HELP whatsoever. Don’t know if you are still associated with this company or if they are just sending out random items. Thanks Jennifer.

Just received a call from the company and they did change the items in the protocol. I spoke with Rick and he explained everything to me. Excited to try these items. Thanks Jennifer.

Hello this is my first blog to read and I’m so happy to find it. I’m at that place you were before diagnosed. I’m so depressed, no energy, hair falling out, skin is a mess. Diagnosed with Crohn’s numerous surgeries removing about 6 feet of intestines, taking low doses of chemo, horrible prednisone that’s created so called permanent damage??? Taking a shower wipes me out. Left a very successful career to be on disability and now have accepted it and am living this disabled life! This isn’t me! I was always sick, but pushed through! But now I’m 48 and feel 78! My 84 yr old in laws get around better then me, they help me up and down stairs? What’s wrong with that picture? I’m so depressed. I’ve not left my home except for Drs.appts in over a year! Sorry for the doom and gloom. This gluten free is new to me as of today. Thank you Jen for tweeting me this am! I’m in tears that someone heard my cry! Now to find a way to get the right gluten free everything to me in Maryland the eastern shore. Kent island to be exact. Sending a gentle hug because my body is in such pain to you Jen! Thank you from the bottom of my soul!

Hi Jennifer! Im the teacher who visited u several times with my mom, husband and 2 young boys about 6 months ago(one time ur parents were there and i chatted with them too..theyre so nice). Ive since moved to Florida and I miss ur food sooooo much! I was lucky to have lived so close, was spoiled!!! Now….Ive found GF luckily but it isnt like ur stuff!!!! Ive been looking for u time to time online…youre one busy person! Then I looked today and saw that u were back full force! and with a new book to boot!! i was so excited i had to send u an email. Cant wait to read it….I still havent been able to find good/solid GF vitamins….Ive always spoken to u about the ones u take from Dr F-? I even called there to make an appointment but no one ever called me back :( I am hesitant to take the vitamins because how can I be sure they can help me as they do for u? Every celiac is different…Ive been glutened really bad since moving here. Not sure if it was from food (Im very careful) but i did research Advil and learned that the liquid pills ive been taking (due to/headaches/feverish/achy) are NOT GLUTEN FREE, only the tablets are!! I couldnt believe this. How was i supposed to know this?? Anyway, Ive been feeling crappy..fatigue, brain fog, irritable, achy, moody. Was wondering about the vitamins again…..which ones would be right for me? Is there a digestive enzyme?
Anyway, best of luck with ur new book and thank u so muc for being a champion for celiac sufferers everywhere. u rock!

We just watched you on FOX News! Thank you for sharing part of your journey. We have been through rough times also. In fact, we have opened a restaurant in Maui that is 100% Gluten Free…we have pizza, pasta, fish & chips and more. It is so badly needed. People have come to us to help us franchise even.
    Thanks again for sharing!

Hi ! i am new here … i saw Jenneifer on fox today ( by accident …maybe) and checked out her site . I believe i am gluten intolreant too … on the suggestion of a friend who who is knowledgeable in the holistic world etc told me to try to get gluten out of my life and i have done so for several yrs now, and i feel better for the most part too .. My ques is this .. I BUY ALL ORGANIC/Gluten Free foods . I don’t use make up much and if i get it i buy it from a health food store ( btw way where i buy ALL my food too and etc) .SO having said that i am wondering if eggs ( organic and free range ) are a no-no for folks who have gluten issues. Any ideas/suggestions are welcome too . Thank You.

I just read you book and I can’t tell you how amazing I thought it was I,just found out I have celiac and have so many question your book has helped me so much…it’s a must read for anyone with this disease….Thank you Jennifer.

I just finished reading your book and I loved it. I was angry at times for the way you were treated by the doctors, tv personnel, hospitals, etc… It bothers me how people can be so insensitive to others. I am happy that you found someone who can help you and that you are doing better. I live in Connecticut but will make some time to go visit your bakery. My nephew has the celiac disease and I am always looking for ways to give him all the goodies that everyone else gets. He loves cupcakes most of all. Thanks again for your book and I hope that your mother and your sister are doing better.
