I loved you on blue bloods and wish you could come back. but I am following you on your blog ad love you for doing the celiac awareness thing. I am gluten sensitive which is probably nothing compared to the full blown celiac thing but it could turn ugly someday for me and I am thrilled that there’s more and more awareness for this disease. thanks again.
If not for Blue Bloods we might not know about Jennifer. Could we have had one without the other? Maybe. But I see it as one good thing leading to another.
Hi Jennifer, I have watched you for a while now before the bakery enterprise. Kudo’s to your bravery and wisdom! I did mention in one of my posts to you that my husband who is a DC and advanced nutritional response testing practitioner in CA and I manage two practices, one in LA and one in Orange County. Not one patient was actually diagnosed Celiac but we know we were at the edge and maybe farther. Our success is crazy good. We target with hands on testing and remedy and of course diet is like yours. What I want to mention is that we only use the most pure products to counter the symptoms and cause at the cellular level. But here is what I want to make you aware of. Systemic Formulas in Utah has come out last few years with a product called Z Glutn. Many of our patients test for that and it is the counter to zonulin at the receptor site. It literally patches the “holes” caused by zonulin. There is more to know. Find an advanced nutritional response testing Doc and he can offer more info about that and more. The founder, Dr. Freddie Ulan came from upstate NY but his headquarters is in Florida now where he teaches scores of Docs across the country. There is help I tell you. What you are doing is 50% of the remedy but I would love for you to have a complete healing. God bless you and your work.
I was curious about your comment regarding Z GLTN and looked it up. The manufacturers site explicitly says that people with celiac disease should not take this product.
You are right Jeremy! Z GLTN is not safe for us celiacs!
Jennifer, I am so grateful to God that you are finally given an outlet to promote your book and get word out about celiac awareness. I just ran into a big ordeal with an uninformed new doctor regarding my celiac disease symptoms. After I got done with him, he is finally educated, but it wasn’t pleasant for me, that’s for sure. Thanks for doing what the majority of us could not do.
Am currently visiting family in KY, but ordered your book from Amazon. It is in my PO box in NV! Now I want to get home to read it carefully…!
God bless you and the team! You KNOW what you are doing is life changing and very important to thousands… Keep on keeping on, Jenifer.
You are loved by many.

Yay!!!! National Exposure!!!! Yay!!!!
I’m so grateful you have used your connections to educate people.
Have you read this? Makes me even more wary.

Since finding out about multiple food allergies aside from the celiac I’m reading more and realizing how vulnerable we are.
Being GF isn’t enough…
We are having a celiac walk run on May 10. It is at the Anheiser Busch facility in Merrimack, NH. If your in the area come on by lots of celiac friends will be there!
Just blows me away how you turn a negitive in your life to grab hold of it to help so many people. Wish more people in the world had your out look in life to look up rather than down
I am so glad you are going to be on The Chew! They had an episode where they made a “gluten free” chili or something and put beer in it! OMG! They really need to understand what gluten free means. I am sure it was an honest mistake but that is why we are so afraid to eat in restaurants or at a friend’s house. If they don’t really understand it can mean a few days of being out of commission. I am so glad to see you getting out there and speaking on this subject! Best of luck to you!
Exciting! Thank you for using your voice to advocate for all of us.
If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have known that I had Celiac disease. One day 5 years ago I was watching tv while I was literally playing with my hair and handfuls of hair were coming out when all of the sudden I switch the channel and i see you on the tv talking about Celiac disease. As my hair was coming out in my hands I started to cry and realized that you were saying exactly what I was going through and I finally had hope. Still to this day I can’t find the right doctor and I don’t know where else to go but I at least know I have celiac disease. Because of my celiac I have trouble losing weight and I still have doctors accusing me of eating gallons of Ice cream and pizzas everyday but the truth is that I have never done that in my entire life. But because of you and the knowledge that I gained from you I now have the confidence to stand up for myself to them and make them listen to me. Thank you! and I can’t wait to read your book!
so, we’ve gone back ‘n forth over this media thing. lots of bashin’ goin’ on. it’s ok to be frustrated, but perhaps it coulda been handled a lil more delicately? i adore ya, i really do, but ya put me off some time back i fear and i have ‘n understand the disease somewhat. best of luck, ms jennifer.
OMG my daughter just went through this she is Celiac , her blood reading was sky high. She is doing better but what she had to go through before getting the diagnosis all the ER visits and tests
Thanks for writing this book
Joyce, have you checked out gluten dude’s website? There’s TONS of good, especially for newly diagnosed people. You’ll find a lot of help there for your daughter.
Was supposed to say good “information”
Hello Jennifer!
Glad to see your future media schedule.
I just received my 2 preordered copies of “Jennifer’s Way” by mail through Amazon.
I originally ordered an extra copy for you to autograph as a keepsake, but a client of mine was diagnosed as celiac this week so I’ll have to give him my extra copy. I’ll order another keepsake copy with hopes of your autograph someday!

Hi Jennifer, I’d like to take my daughter Gina to your store. She has been sick for a very long time going from Dr to Doctor. Because she only tests positive for 2 out of the four or five panels on her blood work to see if she had celiac disease the Dr’s would dismiss it. Finally a physician told her she should try to follow a completely gluten free diet. She has been for the last two weeks and for the first time I see a difference in my daughter. She is complaining that there are no bakeries in the area so I will be taking her to yours this week. We will also purchase your book. By the way I’ve been a fan of yours for many years. Loved you on Blue Bloods. Great chemistry between you and Donny. You are very missed on that show.
Fantastic blog you have here but I was wondering if you knew of any diosssciun boards that cover the same topics discussed in this article? I’d really like to be a part of group where I can get advice from other experienced people that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Thanks a lot!
Howdy, i read your blog occasionally and i own a siilmar one and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you protect against it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it’s driving me insane so any support is very much appreciated.
Hi Jen!
I was diagnosed 11/19/13 with CD via a blood test and confirmed with an upper GI endoscopy.
My oldest daughter has an autoimmune disease and my youngest daughter has an autoimmune disease as well.
If u r ever in the Boston area there is a delicious gluten free cafe located in Millis, MA. The name is Twist Bakery and Cafe. So many options and so yummy! U have to come here and try it! I have CD, a corn and egg intolerance and always can find something there. Very knowledgeable with all allergies! I’m glad u r getting the word out! I also love to talk about GF! Thanks!
My daughter Samantha was very sick for most of her life.Your story and her’s are the same.Only difference she was first year in University when she hit the wall.I had just met a woman that had celiac,so hearing her story. When Sam was telling how she was feeling.I said you need to get tested and she did.So now she feels 100% better.I wish you had a bakery in Toronto. But we have fun making new foods and baking together.I will be buying your book for her.I really enjoyed you on Blue Bloods i was upset when you were no longer on.But very glad to see you on Katie today and happy to hear you are doing and looking great.Congrats on your engagement.
What I love most is the great exposure you are getting, raising awareness for us and soon to be “able to order your great food to be delivered to our homes!!!” for this of us who don’t live in NYC.
Side note ~ I hope CBS feels like the moron’s they are
Go get’ em!!!!!
I’m 40. Always have had horrible digestive problems. I get bloated my stomach hurts an it’s very sensitive. I live in California. Do you deliver?
I just finished reading Jenifer’s Way today and was astonished by what you went through before your diagnosis. I also have Celiac Disease and was diagnosed several years ago. I took years for my diagnosis, and some of my doctors still don’t get it! I am hopeful that with more information out there, such as your very personal and very informative book, more people will be diagnosed, and more doctors will actually learn about CD. Thank you for all you do to support the Celiac community. I can’t wait to buy your products when they are available outside of NYC.
Jennifer, I saw you on The Daily Show and want to thank you for letting people know that Celiac disease is real, not a fad reaction or imaginary condition. My partner suffered for years before we were able to get a knwagable doctor and a confirmed diagnosis. Our life improved that day, about 6 years ago. There was a long road of misdiagnosis getting there.
Although, as stated in your appearance, eating out was very difficult, we have learned where to go and what to say to minimize the risk. There are so many more products available now than when we first were presented with this challenge.
We still encounter people who roll their eyes when we mention “glute free”, or some people just don’t get it, or the true severity. One woman at a restaurant told us” don’t worry Hun, we have whole wheat”. we have had a few incidents where people were not as careful or diligent with ensuring that the food served was gluten free. However, life has gotten much better and we are both eating much better as we cook from more basic ingredients and scrutinize labels more.
Thanks again! Keep up the great work!
